Chiropractic Care for Sports Injuries

Just like the people who get them, sports injuries come in all sizes. And they can happen anywhere-from the head to the toes. Sports injuries may show up as bruises or broken bones and a range of other things in-between such as sprains. Some sports injuries you may have heard of are: tennis elbow and runner’s knee.

At Austin Active Life we have seen them all and have helped countless people get back on track into the active life they once enjoyed.

If you are suffering from sports injury related pain: inflammation, swelling, and loss of mobility are signs, it is important to seek treatment early on as the condition could possibly worsen.

Of course there are ways to prevent sports injuries such as by warming up before participating in the sport or activity. Wearing proper protective clothing is another. Think of helmets and bike riders. Stretching and limbering up also helps flexibility and perhaps lessening an otherwise hard fall or collision.

But sometimes there is the unfortunate situation where all precautions have been taken and a sports injury still exists. We have many solutions to recover you from your injury and pain. Please don’t delay any further and make an appointment with us here at Austin Active Life (512) 474-5433 (LIFE).
