Foot Pain & Plantar Fasciitis- Healing You From Heel to Toe

Do your first few steps out of bed in the morning cause severe pain in your heel? Or does your heel hurt after jogging or playing tennis?

Most commonly, heel pain is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia – the tissue along the bottom of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes. Plantar fasciitis symptoms include stabbing or burning pain that’s usually worse in the morning because the fascia tightens (contracts) overnight. Once your foot limbers up, the pain of plantar fasciitis normally decreases, but it may return after long periods of standing or after getting up from a seated position.

Treatment solutions

The therapies utilized at our clinic have been proven highly effective in providing significant or complete resolution of symptoms related to plantar fasciitis and other foot and ankle related complaints.

Patients may experience foot pain as a result of many things other than plantar fascitis. Sometimes, it can be a result of ill-fitting shoes such as high heels or stiletto heels. Untreated bunions, plantar warts, calluses or ingrown toenails can also be the culprit. Other causes include stress fractures, arthritis, gout or recovery from a broken ankle or broken foot injury.
